We are thrilled to share some wonderful news with you all. Our contemporary chorus choir is on the verge of a significant milestone – we're nearing 100 members! This incredible growth is a testament to the passion, dedication, and camaraderie that each of you brings to our community.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your unwavering support and enthusiasm in spreading the word about our choir's mission and vision. Your collective efforts have been instrumental in our journey, and we couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved together.
As we approach this landmark, we have another exciting announcement to make. On the 7th of September, our choir will have the privilege of participating in a professional recording experience at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in Manchester. This is an extraordinary opportunity for us to showcase our talents and the hard work we've put into this term's songs.
The recording day will be a remarkable event, bringing together singers from all four of our choirs to rehearse and record four songs in a state-of-the-art studio space at the RNCM. This experience will not only be a chance to create music together but also to strengthen the ties within our choir community across Greater Manchester as we come together to sing en masse. The energy and harmony that we create as a united group will undoubtedly be something special.
Reflecting on our journey, it's astonishing to think that it all began just 12 months ago with our first rehearsal on the 16th of May last year. The growth and evolution of our choir have been nothing short of inspiring. As choir directors, we couldn't have imagined a more fulfilling experience. Witnessing the joy and connection that singing brings to us all has been incredibly rewarding, and we hope that each of you is gaining as much from this wonderful group as we are.
